ABOUT
AN ITCH IN TIME - MANGY FOX RESCUE

OUR MISSION & HISTORY.
At AN ITCH IN TIME - MANGY FOX RESCUE, our mission is to compassionately capture and safely transport mangy, sick, and injured foxes to licensed wildlife rehabilitators, giving them the critical care they need to heal.
Through expert handling, dedicated partnerships, and a deep respect for wild lives, we strive to restore each fox’s health and return them to their natural habitat — stronger, thriving, and free.
Our work protects both individual animals and the balance of our shared ecosystems, driven by the belief that every creature deserves a second chance.

WHY IT MATTERS.
MANGE is a painful and often deadly skin disease caused by parasitic mites, and when left untreated, it can lead to severe infection, blindness, starvation, and ultimately death in foxes.
Beyond the suffering it causes the animal, mange is highly contagious and can spread rapidly among wildlife populations—and even to domestic pets in some cases.
Getting a fox with with mange to licensed rehabbers not only offers the animal a chance to recover and return to the wild, but it also helps protect the broader ecosystem.
Early intervention can break the cycle of transmission and restore balance to local habitats, making every treatment an act of compassion and conservation.
OUR
PARTNERS.
Partnerships with AN ITCH IN TIME are essential to expanding the reach and impact of fox rescue, rehabilitation, and public education. By joining forces, businesses, organizations, and individuals help provide critical resources—such as trapping supplies, educational and outreach support—that directly improve the lives of suffering wildlife. These collaborations not only save foxes in need but also inspire greater compassion and awareness within our communities.
