TRAPPING
Volunteering to monitor fox traps is a vital part of our rescue efforts at An Itch In Time. By helping us check humane traps placed for sick or injured foxes, you play a direct role in ensuring timely care and reducing suffering. It’s a meaningful way to support wildlife, get involved in hands-on rescue work, and make a real difference in the life of a fox in need. No prior experience is required—just compassion, reliability, and a willingness to help.
TRANSPORT
POLICY ADVOCACY
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help transport rescued foxes to licensed rehabilitation facilities. Safe and timely transport is a critical step in their recovery journey, and your help ensures they get the care they need as quickly as possible. Whether it’s a short drive or a longer trip, each ride you provide could save a life. Training and guidance are provided—your compassion and a reliable vehicle are all you need to get started.
We’re seeking passionate volunteers to support our advocacy efforts with local governments on behalf of foxes and wildlife welfare. This vital role involves helping us raise awareness, attend community meetings, communicate with officials, and promote humane policies and practices. If you’re a good communicator and care deeply about protecting wild animals, your voice can help drive real change. Your energy and ideas can help us reach more people, raise critical funds, and grow our mission to protect and heal foxes in need. Whether you have experience or just passion, we’d love your help!
We're in need of dedicated volunteers to help us source essential food and supplies for the foxes in our care. This includes everything from raw meat and specialized diets to bedding, gloves, and cleaning materials. Volunteers can assist by reaching out to local businesses, organizing in-kind donations, coordinating pickups, or managing inventory. Every donated item directly supports the health and comfort of our rescued foxes—and your help ensures their needs are met with care and compassion.
We’re always looking for volunteers with special skills who can support our mission in unique and meaningful ways. Whether you’re a vet tech, wildlife rehabilitator, graphic designer, carpenter, grant writer, or have experience in animal handling, your expertise can directly impact the lives of the foxes we rescue.
